I love sewing, quilting and crafting! My grandma was my first sewing teacher and my first project was hand piecing quilt squares. From there we went to the treadle sewing machine – that didn’t work so well until she unthreaded the machine and I learned to pedal! The first project I remember completing was an apron with rick rack trim. Soon I was making clothing for myself, my mother, and my sisters. I’ve made lingerie, menswear, bridal gowns, dolls and many many quilted items.

And it is all fun!

Ruth Bass and I owned a fabric/quilting shop for 13 years. During that time I found the creative side of sewing. Being “one” with my sewing machine keeps my head in the right place. Sharing what I have made with others brings joy! Currently I work as a sales representative calling on fabric stores and quilt shops throughout Washington and Oregon.
